I feel comfortable both physically (I have Parkinson’s) and spiritually at the United Church, the building is light and airy and blessed with a fine organ and an excellent organist. It is a welcoming church with no pressure to conform and is utilised by the wider community during the week.

50 years ago we were married in the Parchment Street Methodist church, which is now part of the United Church, before moving overseas. My wife and daughter are actively now involved in the church so when I returned from my employment overseas it seemed the logical step to attend also.
